The Barangay Local Government Unit (LGU) of Makiwalo, through the Bids and Award Committee (BAC), invites contractors/manufacturers/distributors to apply for eligibility and to submit quotations for the here under:

Name of Project: CONSTRUCTION OF BARANGAY ROAD
Location: Barangay Local Government Unit, Brgy. Makiwalo, Mondragon, Northern Samar
Brief Description: Please see attached documents
Contract Duration: 30 Calendar Days

Prospective bidders/supplier should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last 3 years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for the bidding. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary of Bids shall use nondiscretionary “pass/fail” criteria. Post qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particular relatives to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Evaluation of Bids, Post-qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (188). The schedule of BAC activities is as follows:

1. Issuance of Bid Documents …………………………… January 12, 2019
2. Submission of letter of Intent ………………………. January 12, 2019 to January 25, 2019
3. Opening ………………………………………………………. January 25, 2019

Bid documents will be available only to prospective bidders upon payment of a nun-refundable amount for Accreditation fee (for bidders who are not yet accredited) and for other documents to the Barangay Treasurer.
The Barangay LGU assumes no responsibility whatsoever to composite or indemnify Bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation if the bid.
